American Wood Fibers, Inc. is searching for an Accounting / HR Specialist (internally known as Office Manager) at our Pella, IA plant. Key Responsibilities:
Accounting responsibilities include: general accounting, daily invoicing, accounts payable, inventory control, credit/collections, and month end processing for financial purposes.
HR responsibilities include: maintaining employee files, payroll and benefits administration, recruiting personnel, on-boarding new employees and managing termination paperwork.
Administrative support to include: answer telephones, ordering office supplies, managing office files, tracking employee birthdays and anniversaries, arranging lunches, coordination of company picnic and awards night and any other employee related service.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years office management with Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience)
Accurate data entry and accounting skills
Proficient in MS Office
Professional phone manner and effective verbal and written communications skills
Detail oriented and able to handle multiple priorities
